Our History
It’s been within me for a long time to reach out to others who need a sounding board – someone to listen, speak, suggest, give a kind word to.
People have always related to me and felt at ease in sharing because I was always a good listener with compassion and caring for my fellowman.
Now I have opened a site as a Sounding Board for anyone, particularly women like me who while in the workforce wished to have someone to talk to about my inner feelings. There weren’t always people who would hold things in confidence. So I’d go to the park where I would write, read, listen to music, enjoy nature or have lunch and be refueled during lunch hour.
Let’s get started sharing, releasing uncomfortable feelings and be uplifted in spirit and mind!
Hence, the beginning of Women’s Sounding Board. Not meant to advertise the personal views of each one but to allow engagement in any art form to be used to uplift each person. You can use drawings, paintings, songs, stories, essays or poetry.
Names need not be used but initials or “pen names” are fine.
